Wadjet is often described as an agressive deity while while her sister Nekhbet was thought of as a more matronly protector.
Her sacred animal was the cobra, and Wadjet was often depicted as either a rearing cobra, a winged cobra, or a woman with the head of a cobra.
Horus pursued them in the form of a winged sun disc and Nekhbet and Wadjet flanked him in the form of crowned snakes. This protection was also extended towards the pharaoh who wore the “Royal Ureas” (serpent) on his (or her) forehead.
Before being crowned as king, Geb attacked and raped his mother Tefnut. When he went to take his place as pharaoh and put the Royal Ureas on his own forehead, the snake reared up and attacked the god and his followers..
Wadjet was one of the goddesses given the title “Eye of Ra” (connecting her to Bast, Hathor, Sekhmet, and Tefnut among others). In fact, the symbol of the “Eye of Ra” was often called “the Wedjat.”

One of the oldest Egyptian goddesses. Her worship was already established by the Predynastic Period, but did change somewhat as time progressed. She began as the local goddess of Per-Wadjet (Buto) but soon became a patron goddess of Lower Egypt.

The difference between human and animal souls, according to Kabbalah, is the aspect of free will.
The neshama is the divine spark that allows humans to forge a relationship with the Divine and make free will moral decisions.
The animal soul is the life force and the source of instinctual, animalistic drives.
In kabbalah, the animal soul, or nefesh habehamit, is one of two souls that give life to a Jew. It’s the source of animalistic desires and innate Jewish traits like compassion and kindness!
Kabbalah very much emphasizes the fact that animals do have a soul!
As evil lurks in the darkness in order to camouflage a heart of pure shame and shadow so it morphes into destruction while a heart of
Light lifts the soul!
According to Rabbi Leo Trepp, in late Judaism, the belief developed that, “the people have a heavenly representative, a guardian angel. Every human being has a guardian angel. Previously the term Malakh (angel) simply meant messenger of God.
According to Kabbalah, your Guardian Angel escorted your soul into this world at birth and travels at your side until your death!

Ieiazel (Hebrew: ייזאל) is a Kabbalistic angel. It is the 40th angel of the 72 angels of the Shem HaMephorash. In the hierarchy of angels, Ieiazel is a member of the Powers choir. Its name means “God who rejoices.”
In Christian Kabbalah
Reuchlin refers to and lists the 72 Angels of the Shem Hamephorash in his 1517 book De Arte Cabalistica
Throughout history, Jewish Kabbalists have taken into consideration the path of astrology as a way of accessing symbolic knowledge due to its similarities to Kabbalah.
Caliel (Hebrew: כליאל) is a Kabbalistic angel. It is the eighteenth angel of the 72 angels of the Shem HaMephorash. In the hierarchy of angels, Caliel is a member of the Thrones choir. Its name means “The invocable God.”
Eventually, by the Medieval Period, the textual mistranslations and conflations were forgotten and the entire system was interpreted with a Christian world view by European occultists attempting to reconcile Kabbalistic mystic texts with astrology and alchemy.
When the Greek scholars incorporated the Egyptian system into their own, they grouped the decanal gods with the spirits of the air. Later Christian scholars..
This is interpreted these in two different ways: either as angels or daimons (incorrectly conflating the Greek term for a minor god as a demon!
Astrology of the angels
The ruling dates of the angels were originally derived from the 10 day periods ruled over by the 36 Egyptian decans.
By splitting each week in the Egyptian calendar in half, the 360 day year was divided into 72 sections, with one angel ruling over each five day period..
It came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
The verses tell the story of the Angel of God, who protected the fleeing Israelites from the army of the Pharaoh. It was Moses who spoke the 72-fold name aloud and caused God to part the Red Sea..
They are closely connected to the 72 Goetic demons, which they rule over.
The Kabbalistic angels, also known as the Angels of the Shem HaMephorash, are 72 celestial spirits whose names are derived from the 72-fold name of the Hebrew god as found in the Book of Exodus.
As the Holy One blessed be He created four winds (directions) and four banners (for Israel’s army), so also did He make four angels to surround His Throne—Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and Raphael.
While then he desperately clings to the last heat of light in the roads of springtime.
But the form which Satan loves to take on the most is that of the deceptive serpent who cries that his home is underneath of a dark stone in hell.
What are the names of the Hebrew angels?
Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael
In the Masonic degree of Holy Royal ArchHaggai is one of the Three Principals of the Chapter. Named after Haggai the prophet and accompanies Zerubbabel, Prince of the People, and Joshua, the son of Josedech, the High Priest!
Haggai’s message was directed to the nobles and Zerubbabel, as he would be the first Davidic monarch restored. He saw this as important because the Kingdom would be an end to Jewish idol worship!
He claimed if the Temple was not built there would be poverty, famine and drought affecting the Jewish nation.
His name means “my holidays.”
He is known for his prophecy in 520 BC, commanding the Jews to rebuild the Temple.
The historical setting dates around 520 BC, before the Temple had been rebuilt. The original text was written in Biblical Hebrew.
In Modern Hebrew, mal’akh is the general word for “angel”. In the same manner, apparently, the prophet Haggai is described as “the messenger of the Lord with the message of the Lord” (malʾakh ʾElohim be-malʾakhut ʾElohim; Book of Haggai 1:13).
The term mal’ākh therefore simply means the one who is sent, often translated as “messenger” when applied to humans; for instance, mal’ākh is the root of the name of the prophet Malachi, whose name means “my messenger.”
rootl-’-k (ל-א-ך), meaning specifically “to send with a message”
Hebrew mal’ākh is the standard word for “messenger”, both human and divine, in the Hebrew Bible; it is also related to the words for “angel” in Arabic (malāk ملاك), Aramaic and Ethiopic..
The Talmud describes their very essence as fire.
They are categorized in different hierarchies. Their essence is often associated with fire.
In Judaism, angels (Hebrew: מַלְאָךְ, romanized: mal’āḵ, lit. ’messenger’, plural: מַלְאָכִים mal’āḵīm) are supernaturalbeings that appear throughout The Tanakh (Hebrew Bible), rabbinic literature, apocrypha and pseudepigrapha, Jewish philosophy and mysticism, and traditional Jewish liturgyas agents of the God of Israel..
The Gospel of Luke states that while Zechariah ministered at the altar of incense, an angel of the Lord appeared and announced to him that his wife would give birth to a son, whom he was to name John, and that this son would be the forerunner of the Lord.
It comes from the Hebrew root zakhár, which means “to remember”, and yah, which is one of the names of the God of Israel.
The name Zechariah is of Hebrew origin, and means “God/YHWH remembers”.
The angel’s message
The angel told Zechariah that God had heard his prayer, and that John would be a great man in the sight of the Lord. He would be filled with the Holy Spirit, and would prepare the people for the coming of the Lord.
The Faust legend
In the legend, Faust is a scholar who makes a deal with Mephistopheles, the Devil’s representative, for magical powers and knowledge in exchange for his soul.
Mephistopheles serves Faust for a set number of years, but at the end of the term, the Devil claims Faust’s soul.
Mephistopheles
Mephistopheles, familiar spirit of the Devil in late settings of the legend of Faust. It is probable that the name Mephistopheles was invented for the historical Johann Georg Faust (c. 1480–c. 1540) by the anonymous author of the first Faustbuch (1587).
