Yeouiju is the Korean name for the mythical Cintamani, a wish-fulfilling orb in East Asian lore. In Korean mythology, it’s often depicted in the claws or mouth of dragons, granting wielders omnipotence and creation powers. Only wise, four-toed dragons can hold it; lesser imugi transform into true dragons by catching one from heaven.
In Korean mythology, Imugi are benevolent, giant serpents seen as proto-dragons. They live in water or caves, and sightings bring good luck. To ascend to full dragons (yong), they must endure 1,000 years or catch a Yeouiju—a mythical orb from heaven granting omnipotence. Rare, but a symbol of perseverance!
