A collection of 73 tales where love transcends the veil between worlds
History of Scotland
Prehistory to Early Medieval: Human presence from c.12,000 BCE; Neolithic monuments and Bronze/Iron Age cultures shaped early society.
Medieval Kingdoms: Gaelic Dál Riata, Picts, and later unified Scottish kingdoms; Wars of Independence (late 13th–14th centuries) forged national identity under figures like William Wallace and Robert the Bruce.
Union and Modern Era: 1707 Act of Union joined Scotland and England politically; modern devolved Scottish Parliament restored in 1999 and independence remains a live political issue (notably the 2014 referendum).
While Scotland might be more readily associated with sheep and Highland cows today, its history stretches back much further. During the Jurassic period, parts of what is now Scotland were home to dinosaurs. Fossil evidence, including footprints on the Isle of Skye, reveals that various species roamed the land. These included long-necked sauropods and carnivorous theropods.
Following the dinosaurs’ extinction, Scotland saw the rise of mammals. During the last Ice Age, animals like the woolly mammoth, woolly rhinoceros, and reindeer migrated through the region. As the ice retreated, these animals were replaced by species more familiar to modern Scotland, such as red deer, wild boar, and wolves.
Animals played a crucial role in the lives of Scotland’s earliest inhabitants. Hunter-gatherer societies relied on animals for food, clothing, and tools. Archaeological evidence suggests that certain animals, like deer and fish, held symbolic importance and were depicted in early art. As agriculture developed, animals such as cattle, sheep, and pigs became central to the economy and social structure.
Early religious beliefs were often intertwined with the natural world. Animals were seen as messengers or embodiments of deities. The Celtic religion, prevalent in Scotland for centuries, featured animal gods and spirits. For example:
Cernunnos: A horned god often associated with stags, representing fertility and the wilderness.
Epona: A horse goddess, protector of horses and their keepers.
Animals were also used in divination and ritual practices. Certain birds or animals might be observed for omens, while animal sacrifices were offered to appease the gods. The integration of Christianity led to some of these beliefs evolving with time, with some pre-existing deities taking on new guises as saints or folklore figures.
Animals have long been associated with Scottish royalty and national identity. The lion rampant, for instance, has been a symbol of Scottish kings since the 12th century and is still used today on the Royal Standard of Scotland. Other animals, such as the stag, eagle, and salmon, also feature prominently in heraldry and national iconography, representing qualities like strength, wisdom, and abundance.
Certain royal figures developed close relationships with specific animals. Accounts tell of Scottish monarchs keeping hunting dogs, falcons, and even more exotic creatures as status symbols and companions. These animals played a role in royal ceremonies, hunting expeditions, and the projection of royal power.
Scotland’s rich folklore is populated with a diverse array of mythical creatures, many of which are based on or inspired by real animals. The most famous of these is the Loch Ness Monster, a cryptid said to inhabit the depths of Loch Ness. Sightings of “Nessie” have been reported for centuries, fueling speculation and captivating imaginations worldwide.
Other notable mythical beasts include:
The Kelpie: A shapeshifting water spirit that often takes the form of a horse, luring unsuspecting travelers to their doom.
The Selkie: A creature that can transform from a seal into a human, often depicted as beautiful and alluring.
The Wulver: A benevolent werewolf-like being, said to be a protector of the weak and vulnerable.
These mythical creatures reflect a deep-seated connection to the natural world and the power of storytelling. They serve as cautionary tales, cultural symbols, and reminders of the mysteries that lie within the Scottish landscape.

This is a clear lesson of history: when hatred against one people is not stopped, others cannot remain indifferent or stand idly by. Aggression and disdain for human life and life of entire nations must never prevail, and such protection of life must be the responsibility not only of the brave but of all humanity.
Today, the world honors the memory of the victims of the Holocaust—millions of innocent children, women, and men. Millions of Jews murdered by the Nazis. Tragically, the indifference of others contributed greatly to this catastrophe. Yet, ultimately, the world united to defeat the Nazis and achieve victory over this evil. On this very day—January 27, 1945—the last prisoners were liberated from Auschwitz, one of the most horrific Nazi concentration camps.
This is exactly how the world must act now. Whenever hatred and war threaten nations, the unity that saves lives is required. Everyone in the world who truly values peace and calm must value them not only for themselves; they must make every effort to ensure that hatred never prevails again, so that anyone who spreads it knows they are destined to lose.
Eternal memory to all victims of the Holocaust!

81 lat temu wyzwolony został niemiecki nazistowski obóz koncentracyjny i zagłady Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Today we remember the millions of lives lost during the Holocaust, the millions of stories of individual bravery and heroism, and one of the enduring lessons of one of the darkest chapters in human history: that while humans create beautiful things and are full of compassion, we’re also capable of unspeakable brutality. And we promise never again to go down the darkest path.

I’m so honoured to be named a Chevalière de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture. I have always deeply admired the French aesthetic and the seriousness with which it treats fashion: as a form of art. So to be recognised here and embraced in this way, is a profound privilege — one that reflects decades of commitment and dedication. My sincere thanks to the French Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati for this honour.

In ancient Egyptian mythology, the Weighing of the Heart ceremony judges the soul in the afterlife. Guided by Anubis, the deceased’s heart is placed on a scale against the feather of Ma’at (goddess of truth and justice), overseen by Osiris and Thoth. If the heart is lighter (pure), the soul enters the paradise of the Field of Reeds. If heavier (sinful), it’s devoured by the beast Ammit, ceasing existence. This is detailed in the Book of the Dead.

The Akkadian “Descent of Ishtar” (from Assyrian/Babylonian tablets, like those in Nineveh’s library, ca. 7th cent. BCE) tells of goddess Ishtar journeying to the underworld to challenge sister Ereshkigal. She passes 7 gates, removing clothing/jewelry at each, arriving naked. Ereshkigal afflicts her with diseases, killing her and stopping earth’s fertility. God Ea sends emissary Asu-shu-namir to revive her with water of life. Ishtar ascends but provides lover Tammuz as substitute, leading to seasonal mourning rites. It’s shorter than the Sumerian Inanna version, omitting some details.
The Journey: Inanna (also known as Ishtar) leaves her temple to visit the “Land of No Return”.

Inanna (Ishtar in Akkadian), the Sumerian goddess of love, war, and fertility, features in the myth “The Descent of Inanna to the Underworld” (c. 1900-1600 BCE).
She decides to visit the underworld ruled by her sister Ereshkigal, queen of the dead. To enter, Inanna passes through seven gates, removing a piece of clothing or jewelry at each, symbolizing loss of power—arriving naked and vulnerable.
Ereshkigal, angered, strikes her dead and hangs her corpse. The gods intervene: Enki creates two beings from dirt under his fingernails to revive her with the food and water of life.
Inanna ascends but must send a replacement—her husband Dumuzi, who neglected mourning her.
This tale explores themes of death, rebirth, and seasonal cycles. For full text, check translations like those from the Electronic Text Corpus of Sumerian Literature.

numbers belong to their nature
Hatred toward royalty is usually described politically as anti‑monarchism, while “occult superstitions” refers to hidden or supernatural belief systems; today about 43 countries still have monarchs, though most are symbolic.
Political Hatred Toward Royalty
Anti‑monarchism
The political term for opposition or hostility toward royalty or monarchy is anti‑monarchism.
It refers to criticism of monarchy as a system, or rejection of hereditary rule.
In some countries, harsh criticism of royalty can even be criminalized under lèse‑majesté laws.
Occult & Superstitions
Occult
The word occult comes from Latin occultus meaning “hidden” or “secret.”
It refers to esoteric, mystical, or supernatural practices outside mainstream religion—such as magic, mysticism, alchemy, astrology, and other hidden‑knowledge traditions.
Superstitions
Superstitions are beliefs or rituals based on fear of the unknown, magic, or false ideas of causation—for example, believing certain actions bring good or bad luck.
How Much of the World Is Still Royal?
Modern Monarchies Today
As of 2026, there are 43 sovereign states with a monarch as head of state.
These include:
13 in Asia
12 in Europe
9 in the Americas
6 in Oceania
3 in Africa
Myth & Symbolism
Many monarchies today are ceremonial, but they still carry mythic and cultural symbolism, often tied to national identity, ancient dynasties, or religious traditions.
Japan’s imperial line, for example, is the oldest continuous dynasty in the world.

What’s interesting is how consistently humans have tried to link moral intention, energetic alignment, and destiny long before the modern language of “manifestation” existed.
Ancient Egypt: The Heart as an Energy Record
Egyptians believed the heart stored the energetic truth of a person’s life.
At death, the heart was weighed against the feather of Ma’at (cosmic order).
A “light” heart — aligned with harmony — moved into the afterlife.
A “heavy” heart — full of wrongdoing — was devoured.
This wasn’t punishment in the Christian sense. It was energetic consequence: your inner state determined your destination.
Hinduism & Buddhism: Karma as Energetic Momentum
Karma originally meant action-energy, not moral scorekeeping.
Your thoughts, intentions, and actions create energetic patterns.
Those patterns determine your next state of existence.
It’s not about “deserving” heaven or hell. It’s about the direction your energy was already moving. You continue along the trajectory you built.
This is extremely close to the idea you quoted:
“You go where you manifested energy.”
Ancient Greek Mystery Traditions: Like Attracts Like
Orphic and Pythagorean teachings described the soul as a spark of divine energy.
After death:
Souls gravitated toward realms that matched their vibrational purity.
A chaotic or violent soul couldn’t enter higher realms because it simply didn’t resonate with them.
This is basically ancient “law of attraction” language.
Gnosticism: The Soul Returns to What It Recognizes
Gnostics believed the world was a trap of lower energies.
The soul’s goal was to remember its higher origin.
After death:
Souls full of ignorance or malice stayed in lower realms.
Souls aligned with truth and light rose upward.
Again, not punishment — energetic compatibility.
Indigenous Traditions: The Path You Walk Is the Path You Enter
Many Native American and First Nations beliefs describe the afterlife as a continuation of the energy you lived with:
A life lived in harmony leads to a harmonious afterlife.
A life lived in chaos leads to a chaotic spirit world.
The afterlife is not a courtroom. It’s a mirror.
Medieval Mysticism: Heaven and Hell as States of Consciousness
Christian mystics like Meister Eckhart and Hildegard of Bingen taught that:
Heaven is a state of alignment with divine energy.
Hell is a state of inner distortion.
In this view, people don’t get “sent” anywhere.
They arrive where they already are internally.
Modern Occultism & New Thought: Manifestation as Destiny
By the 19th–20th centuries, occultists reframed ancient ideas into modern language:
“Energy flows where attention goes.”
“Your vibration determines your reality.”
“You attract the realm you resonate with.”
This is the direct ancestor of the “manifestation” language used today.
**The afterlife is not a reward or punishment.
It is the natural continuation of the energy you cultivated in life.**
In this worldview:
A cruel person doesn’t “escape accountability” — they simply enter a realm shaped by their own inner chaos.
A peaceful person moves toward peaceful realms because that’s the energy they lived in.
Belief, intention, and desire act like compasses.
It’s not moral judgment.
It’s energetic physics.
